Storefront Product Catalog
Product catalog is comprised of categories and has a tree-like structure. The top most category is the Store Home (usually called Products). The default theme is designed to display a quick snapshot of a catalog 2 levels deep. Each category can have an unlimited number of sub-categories and products. Each product must belong to at least one category, but can be listed in multiple; categories and products can also be related to each other.
Catalog quick search
The product catalog features a quick search option on all pages. Your store visitors can type in any keyword, or number, and easily find the products they are looking for. The administrator can tweak the search options, such as what product fields are included in the search.
Catalog advanced search
For more savvy shoppers, In-commerce catalog offers an advanced search feature. On this page, the users will be able to home in on the product they are looking for by searching through a number of parameters – from product name and price, to top seller products and products by a specific manufacturer.
Product details
Each product has a page with its detailed description. This page is fully customizable by the administrator, like all other pages, and it usually lists product’s features, manufacturer, MSRP versus your online store prices, product rating, reviews and much more.
Products by Manufacturer
Each product can be assigned to a specific manufacturer, and that enables users to look up all products from a specific manufacturer. The default theme displays a link on the product detail page, to view all other products by the same manufacturer.
Product Reviews
Your customers will buy with more confidence, if they can see what other people who have bought the same products think about them. In-commerce lets you provide that confidence to them, by featuring Product Reviews. By default, any site visitor can add a product review, but it can be easily configured by the administrator.
Product Ratings
Product ratings complement the reviews for those customers who don’t want to spend the time writing a full review, but want to let other potential buyers know how they liked the product. In-commerce offers a built-in rating system from 1 to 5, and visually represents the aggregate rating with stars. The rating system can be also easily configured by the administrator.
Product catalog – international
The website shopping cart by In-commerce supports international stores by providing the ability to view the product catalog in multiple languages, and lets the customers choose the currency with which to purchase the products. Both options need to be set up by the administrator before they can be used, and we have made the configuration process as easy as possible through our intuitive Administrative Console.

Manage catalog categories
The administrator can easily navigate and maintain the catalog, browsing categories much like folders in Windows Explorer. It is very easy to create, edit and move categories, as well as cut, copy and paste them. At the same time, advanced tabs provide the administrator with a multitude of enhanced options allowing him or her to fine tune every little detail of the online store.
Manage catalog products
There are two fundamental ways of managing products in In-commerce – the first one is by browsing the catalog and viewing products category by category, and the other is the Advanced View, which lists all products in one spreadsheet. Either way, the administrator can find and manage one or many products as quickly and easily as files on their PC.

Setup quick & advanced search
In-commerce offers a quick search option on its storefront. While the default setup of the search will work for the majority of the stores, each store is different and unique in its own way. So we have developed a search configuration tool that allows each store owner to fine tune the search according to their preferences. It gives the power to decide which products appear higher or lower in search results for particular keywords, maximizing the customer satisfaction and store profits!
Maintain Manufacturers
The administrator has an option to maintain a list of manufacturers and to assign each product to its respective manufacturer. It will provide users with a quick way of looking up other products from the same manufacturer. This feature can be used not only for manufacturers, but also for authors, brand names, etc – whatever fits your store.
