New Version 4.1.0 Released

We are glad to announce that In-portal platform v4.1.0 and corresponding version of In-commerce v4.1.0 have been released. Beginning with the current release we are officially supporting MySQL 5 database server. With introduction of MySQL 5 support, a major rework took place in numerous back-end processes to improve loading speed system wide.  Please contact our support with any upgrade questions.

As always besides the fixes and optimizations we introduce some new features. Inventory Management for Product Options has been added in this release of In-commerce.

Inventory Management for Product Options

Inventory Management System is one of the original features of In-commerce module and it has been widely used by various of e-commerce stores to manage their product inventory. Product Options and Option Combinations were introduced shortly thereafter and provide more flexibility with pricing setup allowing adjusting product cost based on selected options. In the current In-commerce v4.1.0 release we expand the functionality further and introduce Inventory Management for Product Options, where each combination of product options has an individual SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) and can be tracked by the inventory control system.
